Great location: Best location for overnight when making a connection. Simply get on the CDGVAL & in 5 minutes, you are at the station for the hotel. If one stays for more than a night, easy access to the RER train that takes you right into the heart of Paris. If you plan to stay more than a day, save money by purchasing a train pass. Unlimited on's/off's.

IBIS CDG airport--walk to your morning flight: A great place to stay the night before a morning flight. We walked from the car rental (terminal 2) to the airport shuttle train and got off at terminal 3 and were a few minutes walk to the ibis Paris CDG Airport hotel. The room is small, but the bed is comfy.

Not good, not for me: I wouldn't stay here again. The hotel is very well located for arriving on the RER and connecting with the CDG VAL if you are flying from terminal 3 or 2. The check in wasn't great - the price I was charged was not the advertised discounted price on booking.com. The hotel has no heating - they have changed their policy to providing fan heaters if requested - but they didn't tell me this at check in so I was running the non existent heating in a cold room for half an hour until I realised it was blowing more cold air into the room. There were only two plugs in the room, neither of which is near the bed and one of which I was told to use for the fan heater (which did come fairly promptly after I asked someone to check the heating for me). The shower is tiny and leaked over the bathroom floor and the bathroom door opens in a way that means you cannot leave the chair in front of the desk. There are no tea or coffee facilities and as I was on the sixth floor I wasn't inclined to go down for a take out- there is no room service. I was charged £81 for a Monday night stay which is too expensive for this very basic unwelcoming hotel. The only thing I would say is in its favour is that is was clean and very close to the RER station. Not only would I not stay again, I would not stay at any Ibis hotel in the future.

IBIS hotel at de Gaulle airport: bathroom very small - difficult to sit on toilet without bumping into wall. couldn't reach toilet paper. room hot and unable to open windows because close to airport and security concerns so windows locked. hot night but not time of year for A/C to be turned on. Bed no too comfortable either
