The Paper Factory Hotel reviews

  • Verified traveler (4 May 2017): Fantastic Hotel Across the Street from Subway: This is the perfect place to stay in NYC. the rooms are affordable, the food is amazing, and the rooms are really, really comfortable. On top of all of that, it is right across the street from the M and R lines. You can be in Manhattan in five minutes. Or even walk from the hotel to the Queenboro Bridge. It took me a half hour to walk right into Manhattan.
    Pros: Everything!
    Cons: It was perfect!
  • Verified traveler (21 April 2017): Great first experience here: It is our first time to stay at the Paper Factory hotel. My husband and I travel to NYC a lot because of My husband's work. And it is one of the best experience in NYC. First of all, the staffs(unfortunately I didn't ask their names) who welcomed me were really nice. I wanted to check in early while my husband was working. They figured out our room was not ready at that time, but they set a complimentary upgrade room for me. Our room was big and covered with hard wood floor. Since I have an allergy for many things, I prefer wood floor. Love it! The king size bed is comfortable, and clean. And there's even refrigerator, microwave, and electronic fireplace in our room. It can't be better. The staff said we can enjoy the view to Manhattan, and it was really beautiful, especially at night. The location is right in front of the metro station. It brings us to Midtown in 15 min. I think it would be good for family as well, because I saw kids playing in the recreation room and people reading a book in the backyard. Looks relaxing. In addition, as a regular exerciser, I love their gym which is spacious and packed with every equipment I need. I can't write every single experience, but I can say we will be here again.
Pros: I like staffs are friendly. and a clean room with a refrigerator and microwave. The hotel is decorated beautifully and filled with art.
Cons: the elevator is bit slow, but it is not that big matter because it is 5 stories building.
  • Verified traveler (20 April 2017): Awesome boutique hotel. The only thing to take note of is how horrible the elevators are.. But it's an old building so .. You get what you asked for! I wish I knew this just because I would have left my room 5 minutes earlier than I had.. Food is restaurant was great and so were the cocktails!
  • Verified traveler (9 April 2017): Very cool hotel in Long Island City: This is great hotel in Queens, just one stop away from Manhattan with the subway right at the end of the street. Friendly staff, quirky and fun decor, with huge comfortable rooms. I was super disappointed on my last night then to be woken at 4am by rain dripping in through the ceiling. Although someone came up right away when I called, it took a while for the front desk to begrudgingly find me a new room. Stuff happens, and I get that, but the maintenance guy who came to inspect the room told me that other guests in that room had complained about the same thing before - that's not cool. I'd certainly think about staying here next time I am in NYC, but will request a lower floor!
  • Verified traveler (3 April 2017): Vintage Feel: My fiance and I just spent the night there. We were in town on a business trip but staff were very friendly.
    Pros: the decor.
Cons: I think is great! I wouldn't change anything.
